Emma’s choreographic work includes the two of us (Fall 2024) and joue juste (Spring 2025), marking the beginning of her exploration as a choreographer.

She is currently based in New York City and Dallas.

Artist Statement

My purpose as a performer is to support choreographers in bringing their artistic ideas to life through intentional embodiment of their movement. I see myself not just as a dancer executing choreography, but as a collaborator who listens, adapts, and commits to the creative process. It is important to me to honor the choreographer’s voice while using my technique and artistry to heighten their message.

In performance, I intend to move with clarity, intention, and a range of dynamics. Whether the work calls for precision, expansiveness, or vulnerability, I aim to fully embody its physical and emotional aspects. My movement quality is rooted in control and discipline, yet remains open and adaptive, allowing me to perform any movement given. I believe dance is more than physical art; it is a mutual experience between performer and audience.

Ultimately, my role is to help shape artistic vision into an authentic performance that resonates beyond the stage. I want audiences to feel invited into the world we are creating on stage and to feel emotionally connected rather than simply entertained. Through dedication, curiosity, and respect for the process, I intend to contribute to work that makes a lasting impression and creates meaningful connections within the community.
